Westbrook Staff
David
David has worked at The Animal House since November 2014. He's currently the District Manager for Westbrook and Brunswick locations. His pup Bailee is a Brittney spaniel lab mix. She enjoys Orijen and many of the variety of treats that the stores carry.
Aurora
Aurora is the Assistant Manager of the Westbrook store and has resided in Westbrook since 2015. She has been surrounded by various types of animals her whole life, but currently has one orange cat named Cheese. Passionate about helping you find holistic, nutritional, and tasty options for your pets, she is happy to be part of The Animal House family. Her cat, Cheese, loves to eat Weruva wet cat food for breakfast and dinner, and enjoys OC Raw Chicken Hearts and Orijen Freeze-Dried Tundra for the occasional treat.
Curtis
Curtis has lived in Maine for the past six months. He worked on his great uncle’s cattle farm for a few summers, loves all animals in spite of his minor allergies, and has been with us at the Westbrook store since 2024. Curtis is currently thinking of adopting a (hypoallergenic) puppy.
Nicole
Nicole moved to Maine 5 years ago and plans to stay local. Nicole has gained a new interest in animal nutrition so she came to The Animal House to learn more. She went to Unity College where she earned her degree in animal health and she is now finishing up her masters degree in animal science. She has previous experience at the Maine Wildlife Park and when she is not working at The Animal House, she is working with farm animals. She has two cats named Shadow and Quiche that eat Weruva, Orijen, and Rawz. Nicole also has 2 bearded dragons named Flapjack and Pebbles.
Damariscotta Staff
Kim
Kim has been with The Animal House for over 11 years. She resides in Round Pond with her boys Leanbo, Mordecai, Pumpkin, Oliver, and Sam. Leanbo is 17 and going strong on Natural Balance lamb and rice. Mordecai and Oliver love Earthborn cat in any form. Pumpkin has some allergies and does fabulous on Nature's Variety LID rabbit kibble for cats. Sam tends to prefer his food from the grocery store. Kim is the manager of the Damariscotta store and high-queen of all shenanigans.
Danica
Danica, a devoted dog aunt & honorary aunt to her friends’ cats, hails from Waldoboro. While preparing for her path to academia, she’s here in Damariscotta learning about pet nutrition to ensure that your pet stays happy and healthy! Her nephew, Kai, a silly golden doodle, is food driven but thrives best on Orijen & Red Barn Air Dried Food. He gets to try the best treats and toys The Animal House has to offer whenever Danica decides to spoil him (which is pretty often)!
Brunswick Staff
Patrick
Patrick comes to The Animal House bringing 19+ years of experience in the pet supply industry. Patrick worked for PetLife and Loyal Companion before becoming a part of the Animal House family! He has two dogs who love Earthborn -- a beagle (Doc) and a pit mix (Louie). Rounding out his "Animal House", he has two cats who love fish protein Fussie Cat wet food. Patrick is currently the store manager for our Brunswick location!
Perseus (Percy)
Percy has been working at The Animal House since January of 2023 & is the Assistant Manager of the Brunswick store. Percy was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska where he lived most of his life until moving to Maine in 2023. He has one cat named Beretta who enjoys Tucker’s raw patties and a pup named Icarus who thrives on Stella & Chewy’s raw patties as well as the occasional bowl of Orijen kibble. Percy also has two green cheek conures named Ouija and Juneau that he occasionally brings to work with him! He is constantly expressing his passion for animal wellbeing by expanding his knowledge in animal nutrition. He is well versed in feline and canine nutrition as well as bird and small animal nutrition.
Carrie
Carrie has lived in Maine her whole life and has two dogs (Kai and Journey) and two cats (Nala and Kiwi). Kai and Journey enjoy Stella and Chewy’s kibble as well as Orijen kibble. The cats enjoy Fromm kibble. Carrie is working on getting a degree for animal health and behavior.
