Westbrook Staff
David
David has worked at The Animal House since November 2014. He's currently the District Manager for Westbrook and Brunswick locations. His pup Bailee is a Brittney spaniel lab mix. She enjoys Orijen and many of the variety of treats that the stores carry.
Cal
Cal has worked at The Animal House since April 2018. Their best friend is Akari the Puerto Rican street husky, adopted just a week before starting with The Animal House. A year later began their indentured servitude to the King Cat Meelo, who begrudgingly allowed Little Cat Lucy to come home from The Animal House's cat condo the following winter. Meelo only tolerates the finest of tastes from Orijen, Stella & Chewy's, and Weruva, while Lucy and Akari are happy to clean up any and all of his scraps and rejects. Cal hopes to pursue a future involving training aggressive/reactive animals, and more importantly, their owners. Maybe even flying a plane for rescue transports in the distant future! They currently are the assistant manager at our Westbrook location!
Ronnie
Ronnie has been working at The Animal House since October of 2023. Ronnie moved to Maine from Charlotte, NC with his 3 cats (Zasha, Beatrice, and Twig) and his dog Penny. All three cats enjoy Essence dry food with some Solid Gold and Koha toppers, as well as any Fussie Cat or Koha wet foods. Penny's sensitive stomach and picky palate is controlled by a diet of half Firstmate Chicken & Oats and half Tuckers Chicken & Pumpkin.
Damariscotta Staff
Kim
Kim has been with The Animal House for over 11 years. She resides in Round Pond with her boys Leanbo, Mordecai, Pumpkin, Oliver, and Sam. Leanbo is 17 and going strong on Natural Balance lamb and rice. Mordecai and Oliver love Earthborn cat in any form. Pumpkin has some allergies and does fabulous on Nature's Variety LID rabbit kibble for cats. Sam tends to prefer his food from the grocery store. Kim is the manager of the Damariscotta store and high-queen of all shenanigans.
Will
Will recently graduated from the University of New England with a concentration in animal behavior. With this knowledge Will tries to understand how animals think, act, and react to better help their individual needs. Will has lived all around the beautiful State of Maine, but is happy to call Round Pond his home with his 4 dogs Dozer, Loki, Zena, and Roxie. They will consume anything in their path, but are really enjoying Natural Balance salmon and sweet potato. Will is Assistant Manager of the Damariscotta store -- look for the tall guy and he will happily help you get anything from the top shelves.
Megan
Megan has been a local to the Damariscotta area since birth and is now raising her family there. She has a fantastic indoor/outdoor cat named MooMoo who begs for the Fromm salmon tunachovy kibble and a petite picky princess dog, Maggie, that handles her allergy sensitivities with Natural Balance salmon & sweet potato. Megan has been with us for over a year now since early 2021!
Jenna
Jenna has been with us since October of 2023. Jenna lives in downtown Damariscotta with her partner and their two cats, Sunny (lover of all things Squishmallow), and Ripley (bringer of chaos). Her family found Sunny in the woods when he was 11 and he’s been her “soul-cat” ever since. She and her partner adopted Ripley in September of 2023 and he has certainly kept things interesting! Jenna has experience with all sorts of animals, including cats, dogs, rats, guinea pigs, ferrets, and more!
Brunswick Staff

Patrick
Patrick comes to The Animal House bringing 19+ years of experience in the pet supply industry. Patrick worked for PetLife and Loyal Companion before becoming a part of the Animal House family! He has two dogs who love Earthborn -- a beagle (Doc) and a pit mix (Louie). Rounding out his "Animal House", he has two cats who love fish protein Fussie Cat wet food. Patrick is currently the store manager for our Brunswick location!
Perseus (Percy)
Perseus has been working at The Animal House since January 2023 and is our Assistant Manager of the Brunswick Store. Percy was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska where he lived most of his life -- recently moving to Maine with his 3 cats (Artemis, Beretta, and Bagheera), his dog Icarus, and his conure Ouija. He has always had a soft spot for anything with paws, feathers, or scales, and specializes in small animal nutrition. Perseus believes that food is key to a happy and healthy life for our furry friends. Artemis and Beretta love Steve's Quest raw diet cat food and Icarus thrives on Orejin.
Carrie
Carrie has lived in Maine her whole life and has two dogs (Kai and Journey) and two cats (Nala and Kiwi). Kai and Journey enjoy Stella and Chewy’s kibble as well as Orijen kibble. The cats enjoy Fromm kibble. Carrie is working on getting a degree for animal health and behavior.
